last week i found out the seriousness of vintage in the marlborough region, everyone is flat stick, either preparing for harvest, harvesting, or pressing grapes. Ive been on a seasonal location shoot of giesen vineyard blocks, they have some amazing locations where there grapes are grown, the soil and texture of ground have a big influence on the type of grape grown this varies from each one of there blocks. now im no grape grower im more of a grape taster, but it has been a great insight on wine.
